Focusing on the most important part of the house - The Kitchen.

‘A kitchen can sell a house’, this is a widely known statement especially when it comes to home staging. Hence, making sure your kitchen is presentable to potential buyers is vital.
Here are a few tips on what to focus on when redesigning and organizing your kitchen:

01. Function Friendly

Having a cramped up kitchen means it’s not a place you can fully function in especially if you are someone who loves to cook.

One simple step in seeing if you have a function friendly kitchen is the distance between a fridge, sink and oven. If the distance between each is up to six feet and the placement of each forms a triangle , then you have a perfectly functioning kitchen.

02. More Storage Space

As always the more storage, the better. Using every nook and cranny to create ample storage is never a bad idea. Constructing overhead cabinets and cupboards would give the kitchen a good look as well as enough storage for electronic appliances to avoid clutter on counter tops.

03.  Lighting Matters

This point is pretty simple, kitchen lighting should never create a shadow over you when you are using the kitchen. Instead lighting should always be placed in a manner that the light falls in front of you when near the oven or counter tops.

04. Safety

Make your kitchen as safe as possible. Consider such safety elements such as rounded countertops, slip-resistant flooring and ovens located at adult height to minimize the chances of accidental burns. These points will be important plus points to a potential buyer, primarily to those who have families with little children.
