OUR STORY
Encore Staging Services was founded by Vanessa Nielsen, owner and principal designer, whose passion for design was inspired early in life. Growing up with a beauty stylist mother and a professional tailor father, Vanessa was immersed in creativity from a young age. As a child, she enjoyed making dresses and decorative pillows for herself and her friends. In her teenage years, she helped friends prepare for school proms and weddings by styling their hair, applying makeup, and offering her creative touch.
Before founding Encore Staging, Vanessa built a successful career in marketing and public relations within the professional beauty industry. She also holds a real estate license, although she no longer practices. After gaining experience helping her broker stage properties in Santa Monica, Vanessa decided to return to Silicon Valley to start a family and launch her own business. Thus, Encore Staging Services was born, and it has continued to thrive ever since.
Encore is built on a foundation of dedication and reliability. The team prides itself on completing every project on schedule, regardless of circumstances. Vanessa’s commitment to this promise was exemplified during the early days of the business when she staged a home on time—even with her teenage daughters in tow.
Today, Encore Staging Services is proud to enhance the beauty and appeal of homes across Silicon Valley and the lower Peninsula, one meticulously styled property at a time.
