Known as one of the oldest tricks in the interior design book, placing mirrors in any space will give it a larger brighter touch. To give it a little bit more oomph try a mirror with a unique frame.

02. Calm The Tone.

Sometimes the choice of paint plays a big role in how you can make a room look more spacious. Sticking to calming, neutral tones can always trick the eye into seeing the space larger than it actually is. Make sure to add a little bit of texture to the room to avoid it looking completely plain and boring.

From small built in shelves to even getting furniture that can also be utilized as some kind of storage facility and even a windowsill can be used as an extra storage space for decor, lamps, and other essentials when there's no room for an extra table.

04. Go Bigger But Fewer.
As strange as it may sound, placing big pieces of furniture in small spaces can actually make it feel larger. Also avoid placing all your furniture up against the walls, instead create space behind the pieces to make the room look wider.

05. From Square to Round.
Maximizing space in a small area can easily be achieved when you choose the right dining table. Instead of going for the giant, heavy duty dining table, opt for a small round table.
